Africa & Claudia
...a lifelong love
My name is Claudia Schnell and together with my team, we will be your hosts for extraordinary Safaris. I have worked as a professional field guide and coach for more than 12 years in the African bushveld - and still love it as if it was my very first day!
Join us for different Safaris on a private Big5 Game Reserve just a stone’s throw away from the well-known Kruger National Park and not far from the little town of Hoedspruit.
I have always been impressed by the African wild animals and the incredible beauty of South Africa and I have gained my experience as ranger in a wide variety of places.
I guide my guests with a special eye for details, great care and enthusiasm. While on Game Drives or Bush Walks I love to share my passion and knowledge of flora & fauna and information about this incredibly beautiful continent.
With me, you will discover the African bushveld with all its diversity and its wonderful sights, smells and sounds, especially noticing all the fascinating, often overlooked, smaller wonders of nature.
"Take on our invitation and join us on Safari -
a unique experience, you will surely never forget!"
Two Lodges
...for the best moments in life
Our strength is our flexibility and we are happy to offer our safaris in two different privately run lodges, which are specially tailored to the needs of our guests.
Clive's Safari Lodge is located on the open planes of the game reserve and offers a unique view of Africa's countryside and its wildlife. Our five chalets are furnished with elegance and simplicity and blend into the surrounding trees, which build a shady roof of relaxation with their canopies. From the viewing deck and the pool at the main lodge, our guests enjoy fantastic views over the waterhole and the bypassing wildlife - during the day and at night.
Weavers Nest is the perfect place for families and small groups who want to enjoy the African animal and birdlife up close. Privacy & exclusivity have priority at this tranquil lodge, which is located on one of the large dams in the Private Game Reserve. Five guest chalets carry all the elements of authentic bushveld living and classic elegance. They repose at the shore of the dam with superb views of the surroundings and its wildlife.
All ideal conditions for thrilling Safaris and a relaxing and unforgettable stay in the African bush!

when you are in Africa..."
